With the exhibition “Garage Sale” Bureau Fomo is opening its garage door one last time this year and invites to an exhibition and sale.
The internationally popular form of “garage sales” is closely linked to suburban living culture and, in addition to selling goods, promotes social encounters in the neighbourhood and the exchange of everyday culture in public spaces. In keeping with the duo‘s first exhibition, “Driveway Dreams,” the garage and its driveway are intended to provide an opportunity for spontaneous connections and exchanges—a place of community and opportunities for spontaneous conversations, glances, negotiations, interactions, and communication.
With this in mind, the duo presents their first Bureau Fomo Editions:
In addition to the bureau fomo collection, the two artists Alise Tipse and Johanna Pichlbauer have created limited edition wine bottles in collaboration with Weingut Gassner.
In cooperation with Weingut Gassner, Bureau Fomo is opening the “Bar Fomo” and inviting visitors to enjoy wine tastings, mulled wine, and bottles from Weingut Gassner for sale.
